Hi Team, I'm Leanne.

I'm from Warrnambool in Southern Victoria, Australia.

I moved to 100m sprints last year basically 'cause I sucked at longer runs! I'm trying out beach sprints at the moment. I'm also a PT and do a lot of running work with my clients.

Every day I get out is an achievement! Injuries aside I aim to get down to 11:96 on grass.

I train in my home town and have an awesome training partner, James.

Cheers!

I've know Steve for ages through coaching and we share a very similar approach to sprint training.
I coach sprints in sydney but have been in semi retirement since my son was born (He's 18months old), doing a bit now as my wife is back doing some training.
Best performances by people I have coached are (All female)

200 23.62w/23.75
400 53.8

Sprinter

Hi there everyone...

My name is Marnus Snyman.
I am a university student at the North West University in Potchefstroom - South Africa.

I was a very promising sprinter and hurdler all through High School (so I'm told), but ran into some trouble when I tore my ankle ligaments in a rugby game my senior year...

I am hoping to make a big comeback straight into senior athletics!

My pb's are still from way back when I was about 16.
100m - 10.88 sec
200m - 22.40 sec

I am fortunate in having one of the greatest training venues in the world in Potchefstroom, and I am hoping that I can learn and share a lot with everyone here.

See ya

Cheers.

Mark Neates

Hello all. My name is Mark Neates. I specialize in coaching speed, power and general conditioning for players of "ball sports". This includes AFL, Rugby, Cricket, Soccer, Tennis etc. I'm based in Perth, West Australia.

In the past I have represented West Australia at Track and Field as junior and senior athlete, and Australian Rules Football as a junior. I have a Sports Science background and have been coaching for some 20+ years.

I was the West Coast Eagles speed coach from 1986-2000. I have privately coached three players for speed development who have gone on to win Brownlow Medals: Ben Cousins (West Coast Eagles), Simon Black (Brisbane Lions) and Shane Woewodin (Melbourne/Collingwood).

My main coaching objectives for my players are acceleration, agility and power development.
